This hands-on workshop invites participants to explore the creative possibilities of embroidery on paper by combining stitching with paint, drawing, collage, and other mixed-media techniques. Participants will learn how thread can transform flat surfaces into textured, layered works of art, expanding traditional embroidery beyond fabric.
Participants may bring their own painted, drawn, or collaged pieces on paper or canvas, or they may create a new base during the workshop. Through guided instruction and experimentation, embroidery becomes a tool for expression, connection, and storytelling. The workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced artists alike, offering both technical instruction and open-ended creative exploration.
