On Wednesday, August 20th, @ 6:30 pm, the Gloucester County Library will host a Cemetery Tour of Trinity Church in Swedesboro led by local historian and author Bennett Carlton.
Participants of the tour will meet at the Margaret Dombrosky Swedesboro Library located at 1442 Kings Highway Swedesboro, NJ 08085 @ 6:30 pm.
The tour will include viewing the grave-sites of soldiers from the American Revolution and other well-known Gloucester County residents as well as hear fascinating facts and stories about the unique role that Swedesboro played in the American Revolution.
Bennet Carlton is the author of “King of the Tories: John Hatton and the American Revolution in Swedesboro and Woolwich Township, New Jersey”. As well as several other books on the Civil War and World War II. Ben also worked at the Logan Township Branch of the Gloucester County Library and led tours for Centipede Tours of Philadelphia.
