Library Elf Being Discontinued
Starting on September 30th, 2025, Library Elf will be discontinued. We appreciate our patrons that have made use of this service over the years. During this transition time, we encourage our patrons to make the most of the notification services we offer directly. Patrons are able to sign up for:
- Phone Call Notifications (for overdue items and available holds)
- Email Notifications (for items due soon, items overdue, and available holds)
- Text Message Notifications (for items due soon, items overdue, and available holds)
- LOGIN Libraries App (managing your account by placing holds and renewing items on the go)
Want to take advantage of the notifications we offer, not sure what you are currently signed up for, or want to change the notifications you currently receive? You can visit any one of our library branches or you can do so via this notification update form.
Did you know you can sign up for text message notifications right from the library catalog? Log into your account with your library card and click on My Account at the top of the page.
Go to the Personal Information tab and the SMS Notifications dropdown and select Add SMS Notification.

In the fields, the Label can be anything (cell, my phone, mom/dad’s phone, etc.). Enter your phone number in the appropriate line without the spaces and then read and check off the agreement box. Choose the notifications you would like to receive on the right and then click on save. You will start receiving texts the following day.

Want to opt out? No problem! Clicking the trash can icon next to your notification method in the SMS Notifications Settings tab will opt you out. You can also visit a branch to opt out as well.
