Placing Holds

If an item is owned by another library or unavailable at this time, you may place a hold on it. This will allow you to join a waitlist for the item and get a notification when the items are ready for you to pickup.

• Locate and click on the Place Hold button on the right side of the screen
• Type your library barcode number (entire number without any spaces) and PIN in.
• Choose the library where you would like to pick up the item.
• Click on the Place Hold button.

You can also place holds on multiple items at a time. On the search results screen, check the box next to each item you'd like to request. Then, in the Select an Action dropdown, choose Place Hold. You'll then be prompted to login using your card number and PIN (if you have not already done so), and to choose a library for pick up.
