What are the library's hours?
All GCLS branch libraries will be open to the general public:
- Monday and Wednesday: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
- Tuesday and Thursday: 11:00 am - 9:00 pm
- Friday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Saturday: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm (Glassboro, Greenwich, Logan, and Swedesboro) and 10:00 am - 5:00 pm (Mullica Hill)
- Sunday: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm (Mullica Hill)
Are face masks required?
Yes. A face covering is required to be worn inside the building for anyone over the age of 2 years old. We also ask that all patrons keep a distance of at least 6 feet between others in the building
How many people can enter and how long can I stay?
There are currently no capacity limits for any of our libraries.
How do I return materials?
All library materials must be returned in the outside bookdrops. We are not accepting returns inside the building.
Can I pick up my reserved items? Are you still offering contactless pickup?
Yes, for the quickest and safest holds pickup experience, we recommend using our Contactless Pickup Service. Holds can be placed online, by phone, by email, or via chat. When you receive a notification that your items are ready for pickup, you can place a pickup appointment online or over the phone. Your materials will be placed in a bag on a table near the door where you can take them and go.
If you prefer, you may pickup your holds inside the building. However, we do strongly recommend our contactless service.
Are public computers available?
Yes. You can also make a PC reservation in advance here.
Can I get help with the library's computers?
Yes, we will be offering help with the library's computers remotely. Please visit our COVID-19 Computer Help page for more information.
Can I reserve a meeting room?
No, unfortunately, our meeting rooms are unavailable at this time.
Are you taking donations?
Yes, we are currently accepting donations. Please contact the library branch you'd like to donate to for more details.
Is notary service available?
Yes, our notary service is available by appointment only. Please contact the library for more information.
Is tutoring allowed in the building? Or face-to-face meetings?
No, tutoring and face-to-face meetings are not allowed in any of our libraries until further notice.
Can I get research help?
Yes, our librarians remain available to assist you during regular business hours via email at email@example.com, via phone at 856-223-6050, and via chat using the Ask a Librarian tab on the website.
