GCLS offers several different types of computers to the public. Internet PCs have the Internet Explorer web browser as well as Microsoft Office suite, which includes MS Word, Excel and Power Point. Library Catalog computers allow patrons to access the library catalog, place holds, and view their patron information. WIB computers (Workforce Investment Board) are available for Internet job searching. All computers are available on a first come, first served basis.
All branch libraries offer free wireless Internet access to customers with appropriately configured wireless devices.
- The Greenwich Branch offers 14 Internet PCs and 2 Internet/Library Catalog computers.
- The Glassboro Branch offers 8 Internet PCs, 3 Library Catalog computers, and 1 WIB computer.
- The Logan Branch offers 4 Internet PCs, 2 Library Catalog computers, and 1 WIB computer.
- The Mullica Hill Branch offers 12 Internet PCs, 4 children's multimedia/Internet PCs, 7 Library Catalog computers, 1 WIB computer, 1 computer for Online Database access, and 2 automated self-checkout stations.
- The Swedesboro Branch offers 3 Internet PCs and 1 Library Catalog computer.
GCLS also offers Programs & Classes on basic computer skills, the Internet, and some software applications. We offer Online Databases that can be accessed from any computer with Internet access, as can our Library Catalog. GCLS is a participating member of QandANJ.org.
