Stated Meetings: We meet the third Monday of the month at 7pm, East Greenwich Municipal Building on Democrat Road in Mickleton, NJ

East Greenwich Township parks include:

  • Hidden Acres Park, a park of 50 acres off Jessup Mill Road has a stream, ball fields and picnic and barbecue facilities. Fireworks are sometimes held here as part of our annual East Greenwich Day festivities.
  • The East Greenwich public schools have playground equipment, and a ball field
  • Mickleton Park (dedicated to Laura Getsinger) on Democrat Road in Mickleton has a playground for young children
  • There is a small park and playground with two tennis courts at the junction of Harmony and Democrat Roads in Mickleton
  • Thompson Family Park, a 60-acre park on East Wolfert Station Road features soccer fields, walking trails, and picnic areas. [SEE JPG file of park when in its planning stages]. For scheduling and use of the park, please contact Cheryl Koren at parkdirector@eastgreenwichnj.com

    Directions to Thompson Family Park:

    FROM KINGS HIGHWAY:
    -Make a right or left onto East Wolfert Station Rd.
    -Go about a 1/2 mile Park will be on the Left.

    FROM Rt. 45:
    Make a right or left onto East Wolfert Station Rd.
    -Go pass Union Rd intersection
    -Go about a 1/4 mile and the park will be on the right

    FROM RT. 295
    -Exit 16B
    -Off Exit M/Right onto Democrat Rd.
    -Follow Democrat Rd. for 2.4 miles to 1st Light.
    -At Light, M/Right on Kings Hwy (RT. 551)
    -Follow Kings Hwy for 1.1 miles and M/Left on E. Wolfert Station Rd.
    -Go 1/2 mile, fields on left.

East Greenwich Little League, Inc.
The Little League provides a supervised program of competitive baseball and softball games conforming to the rules of Little League Baseball, Inc.

East Greenwich Soccer Association
The Soccer Association promotes, fosters and perpetuates the game of soccer on a youth level and provides competition for all its members to play the game in accordance with high standards of sportsmanship and fair play.

KINGSWAY YOUTH LACROSSE CLUB

Our club is dedicated to growing the sport of lacrosse in the area. We provide
boys and girls teams for ages 6 to 15.

East Greenwich Youth Basketball League
This program allows local youth, in grades 3 through 5, to participate in bsketball games within the school's district and the county. Registration is held in October and the season begins in November.

Kingsway Youth Football and Cheerleading Program
This organization functions as a feeder program for the Kingsway Regional High School football system.

Meetings: Every Thursday starting August 1, at the Samuel N. Giordano Sports Complex.

Kingsway Dragon Junior Wrestling Association, Inc.
Provides instruction in the sport of wrestling to children within the Kingsway Regional High School sending district. Participants range in age from 5 to 15 or 8th grade (whichever comes first). Signups are held in November. An annual wrestling tournament is held in December.
