EAST GREENWICH JUNIOR WOMEN' CLUB The Junior Women's Club provides community service to the township and fellowship to women with an interest in enhancing their lives. Contact Person: Robin Macken (856) 224-0264 EAST GREENWICH HOME AND SCHOOL ASSOCIATION Members of the Association work with the school administration and teachers to provide programs, parties, special activities and needed equipment for the children. Meetings are open to anyone who wishes to attend and everyone is welcome. We extend an invitation to all families to join. MICKLETON GRANGE #111 The Mickleton Grange is a family organization with emphasis on community service, agriculture, and legislation. The Grange welcomes anyone to join this family organization. Contact Person: Allen or Bette Counsellor (856) 468-3467 Meetings: Second and fourth Thursdays of each month (except July and August) at 7:30 pm, Friends Meeting House Annex (corner of Kings Highway and Cedar Road) EAST GREENWICH EDUCATION FOUNDATION This independent community-based organization strives to acquire and distribute funds and educational programs for students and all community members. EAST GREENWICH LITTLE LEAGUE SEE "PARKS AND RECREATION" section LITTLE RED SCHOOLHOUSE COMMITTEE This committee maintains the Little Red Schoolhouse through the Mickleton Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends, as a community center. Rentals - Contact Person: Anne Marsh (856) 423-6942 Committee Membership - Contact Person: Gloria Horvay (856) 223-5111 The Little Red Schoolhouse Committee focuses on the preservation of Mickleton's first school. Rentals are available to township residents. No alcoholic beverages are permitted at any time. Township organizations are encouraged to contact the committee if they need meeting space. Meetings: Second Monday of each month at 7:30 pm at the Little Red Schoolhouse at the intersection of Harmony and Democrat Roads. . MICKLETON GARDEN CLUB This club welcomes anyone interested in flower arranging and gardening or anyone who would like to enter the flower show in May. MOM'S CLUB OF WOOLWICH MOMS Club of Woolwich is a group whose goal is to provide support to stay-at-home moms. Our chapter boundaries include Swedesboro/Woolwich, East Greenwich, and Mantua townships in Gloucester County, NJ. We have a calendar full of events and activities that you and your children can enjoy together. There are playgroups, cooking groups, service projects, and much more! GIRL SCOUTS OF THE SOUTH JERSEY PINES This organization offers girls (from kindergarten through 12th grade) leadership, sisterhood and friendship through camping trips, meetings, and various association outings. Our township has several Girl Scout Troops. Adult volunteers are needed. Overnight camping is once a month, September through June. Camping trips include canoeing, whitewater rafting, bicycling and hiking. Meetings are held every Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. at the Clonmell United Methodist Church Hall and breakfast is served. They participate in many community projects such as: operation suitcase, July food drive, sneakers for Africa, community clean up days, and their calendar if full for the remainder of the year. COMMUNITY ARTS CENTER OF EAST GREENWICH The Community Arts Center of East Greenwich, a nonprofit organization bringing arts to the community, offers art classes for students of all ages--including adults. Students can experience an array of artistic media while being taught by qualified community members.
